Hearing Aid Missions
NewSound Hearing Aid Centers proudly supports the Hearing Health International Institute (HHII), a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. HHII’s partnership with the Starkey Hearing Foundation has resulted in over 335,000 hearing aids distributed to needy persons worldwide since 2000. The Starkey Hearing Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes hearing health awareness and provides hearing aids to persons in need worldwide. The Foundation is sustained by the efforts of thousands of volunteers and donors around the world. This support allows the Foundation to deliver more than 50,000 hearing aids annually through more than 100 hearing missions a year.

Recent Missions
A team of volunteers from NewSound Hearing Aid Centers traveled to Tampico, Mexico and Reynosa, Mexico for a hearing mission June 18-20, 2009. The team provided over 2,000 hearing aids to impoverished hearing impaired children and adults. “There is an overwhelming sense of privilege to be a part of this effort,” said Randy Schoenborn, President of NewSound Hearing Aid Centers. “It is like having a front-row seat to witnessing lives changed. Children arrive unable to hear, and they leave hearing. The emotion is uncontainable.”
