“My father has been struggling for years with his hearing. He already has hearing aids, but never takes the time to have them properly calibrated as his hearing changes. We were at a restaurant some months ago and because of all of the background noise he was barely a part of the conversation. “My elderly mother needed hearing aids so I found this NewSound location nearby and took her to it.  We were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating guy at the front desk, Jesse, who had us wait for an initial exam of my mother.  Anthony Hernandez, the audiologist (a Doctor of Audiology) at this location was remarkable.  He was patient with my mother, spoke clearly and distinctly so that she could understand what he was saying and explained the process of getting fitted for hearing aids to her.  An appointment was scheduled for a hearing examination.
On our return, Anthony cleaned my mother’s ears, performed a complete examination of her hearing, shared the results with us and went over the hearing aid options.  He made a recommendation, clearly explaining his reasoning.  We placed our order.
After a few days, we were notified that her hearing aids had been delivered. We scheduled a fitting appointment and were wowed by Anthony’s great customer service.  He methodically calibrated her new devices, had her complete a new hearing test with the benefit of her hearing aids, applied for my mother’s insurance benefits to help pay for the devices, and even cleaned her ears to make sure that she was getting the full benefit of her new hearing aids. Last, but not least, Jesse scheduled her follow-up appointments so that her hearing aids could be gradually adjusted and serviced as needed.  Anthony is clearly a professional who takes pride in his work, takes the time to give the customer the attention needed, and cares about the well-being of the people he helps.

I went in last Thursday and was given my permanent hearing aid and had it customized and gave me lots of new batteries!
